The Edge Malaysia-Centurion Club recognises and honours listed companies with market capitalisation of more than RM100 million and less than RM1 billion as at March 31 of each year.

Membership of The Edge Malaysia-Centurion Club is automatic and complimentary, and is determined by an annual evaluation by The Edge of all the companies listed on Bursa Malaysia.

To qualify for membership, a company must have a market capitalisation of more than RM100 million and less than RM1 billion on March 31 of each year and needs to have been listed for at least four (4) calendar years of the last trading day of March of the current calendar year (i.e. 31 March for 2022).

THE EDGE MALAYSIA- CENTURION CLUB CORPORATE AWARDS 2022

The Edge Malaysia-Centurion Club Corporate Awards recognise the top companies within the members of The Edge Malaysia-Centurion Club through key measurements that are transparent and based on merit.

There will be 40 awards presented to the companies in the twelve Bursa Malaysia designated sectors below:

  •  Industrial Products & Services
  •  Plantation
  •  Property  
  •  REIT
  •  Technology
  •  Telecommunications, Media & Utilities (combined sector)

Each sector will be presented with the following awards:

Highest Return on Equity Over Three Years Award

To qualify for this award, companies must not have posted any losses throughout the period of evaluation. Return on Equity (ROE) is computed as weighted ROE over three years.

Highest Growth in Profit after Tax Over Three Years Award

To qualify for this award, companies must not have any losses throughout the period of evaluation. Profit growth is computed as compound profit growth over three years.

Highest Returns to Shareholders Over Three Years Award

Returns to Shareholders is computed as returns to shareholders over three years comprising growth in share price and dividends received over the past three years. The share price at the start of the evaluation period is adjusted for any rights/bonus issues, distribution of treasury shares, dividend in specie and capital repayment.

Centurion of the Year Award

The much coveted The Edge Malaysia-Centurion Club – Centurion of the Year Award recognises the best among members for its performance.

It is determined based on the following:

The Edge has the discretion to select another company from the top ranked companies to be The Edge-CC Company of the Year.
